I’m coming into the team to act as Executive Producer, which means I’ll be holding the vision for the project. The immense responsibilities of production remain in the hands of Chris Lena and his team, allowing me to throw some additional muscle into the design process. I’ve literally played Champions since before it was published, having been invited into the back room of a game store to help playtest a new superhero RPG many years ago. I was instantly hooked, so the chance to come in and help bring the Champions Universe to a new generation of gamers is incredibly exciting.

Halloween Special - Introducing Grond
A bizarre series of industrial accidents combined into one massive radiation accident to create the monstrous Grond. When this fearsome creature goes on a rampage, he can level entire cities and take on any superhero.
Grond is driven by rage and other unknown impulses, which makes it hard to predict what he might do at any time. Grond possesses a primitive intelligence, making it easy for smarter villains and groups like VIPER to trick him into doing what they want.
The United States Army has recently initiated “Project Greenskin” in an attempt to take control of this destructive mutated man-monster!

Sign Up Now for Cryptic Studios’ Champions Online™ Closed Beta
Los Gatos, CA – October 13, 2008 – Cryptic Studios™ announced today that players can now sign up for a chance to participate in the first closed beta for Champions Online™, an action massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) slated for release in the spring of 2009.
